Marie Claire launches Marie Claire VIP

Marie Claire UK, the fashion and beauty brand published by Future PLC, has launched its first ever premium loyalty programme.

Marie Claire launches Marie Claire VIP
Emily Ferguson: “The concept of the VIP is to bring together all the elements of the Maire Claire brand to create a fully immersive experience.”

Members will be able to join Marie Claire VIP for free to receive points when they shop at over 4,000 online retailers via the Marie Claire VIP site. Once 10,000 points have been received they can exchange them for online vouchers to spend at their favourite retailers who partner with VIP.

Marie Claire VIP is launching in partnership with Illamasqua. The first 2000 people who sign up to the platform will receive a free full-size Illamasqua Antimatter Lipstick worth £20 with an exclusive code. The next 3000 will receive the same lipstick when they spend £20 or more, says Marie Claire. The offer is available in the UK only.

The VIP rewards programme will be first offered via a chrome browser extension, and will later be rolled out to web and app versions of the service. Users can earn anywhere from 1% up to 50% of their purchases in points.

Bringing together the brand’s touch points for a fully immersive customer experience, say the publishers, members will also receive early access to fashion and beauty sale events with Marie Claire partners, invitations to Marie Claire events, exclusive discounts and free beauty samples.

Marie Claire VIP is led by Emily Ferguson, Marie Claire’s eCommerce Director, who says: “The concept of the VIP is to bring together all the elements of the Maire Claire brand to create a fully immersive experience and add value to our users every time they shop.”

Caroline Stent, MD of Marie Claire UK, says: “VIP is an important new component within the Marie Claire UK business ecosystem and we're looking forward to being able to better reward our loyal and valued community in new and exciting ways.”
