MNA Media prepares to unveil redesign of websites
Martin Wright: “An incredible amount of hard work has gone into the redesign of the websites, which are viewed by over three million unique users every month.”

MNA Media says the redesign of expressandstar.com and shropshirestar.com is a testament to the company’s commitment to delivering first-rate journalism in a visually engaging, user-friendly online environment.

From November 1, the new websites will be live and users will see the improved design, more content and an enhanced user experience allowing readers on both sites to enjoy more of the articles that interest them, added the publisher.

MNA Media outlined that key features of the new websites include:

Enhanced Design: The new design has a clearer and more intuitive visual layout, with improved imagery and information. The design is intended to captivate readers and provide a visually appealing platform for the Express & Star and Shropshire Star’s compelling content.

Improved User Experience: MNA Media says it has focused on refining the navigation of both sites, ensuring a smoother experience for users. The new structure allows for easy access to a comprehensive range of articles, helping to provide users with a seamless journey throughout the platforms.

Content Visibility: The redesign aims to showcase the breadth and quality of articles on both websites, highlighting the extensive range of content available. This reflects the ongoing commitment to quality journalism and the rich heritage of the Express & Star and Shropshire Star.

Editor-in-chief Martin Wright said the new websites reflect how important these iconic publications are to communities across the West Midlands and beyond:

“An incredible amount of hard work has gone into the redesign of the websites, which are viewed by over three million unique users every month,” said Martin. “MNA Media has a history spanning almost 150 years and more people than ever before are turning to us for their news and sport.

“People locally and across the world visit our websites to find out what is happening across the region, and this redesign will make that easier and more appealing visually while also showcasing more of our original journalism.

“This redesign is part of our ongoing commitment to providing readers with the best experience possible when using our sites, which we know is why millions of people turn to us again and again as their most trusted news source.

“This launch signifies the initial phase of our digital transformation, with further enhancements planned in the future. We look forward to the improved sites going live on November 1, and hearing what our readers have to say.”
