Daryl Rayner: “The Universals Service allows publishers to sell digital access through their own e-commerce systems, putting them in the driving seat of managing digital sales and customer data.”

Memorabilia magazine Programme Monthly & Football Collectable has announced it has partnered with digital publishing services platform Exact Editions to deliver fully-searchable access to a modern archive of issues through the ‘Universals Service’. Print subscribers can access content across web, iOS and Android devices.

Printed monthly for over 40 years, Programme Monthly’s content ranges from articles about collectors and information about auction prices and fairs, to stories from the wider collecting community from the UK and beyond.

Subscriptions are purchased and processed through Programme Monthly’s own website. Subsequently, subscribers are directed to a dedicated registration page to authenticate their digital access, which includes a modern archive of 3 back issues as well as ongoing content.

Editor & publisher Paul Matz commented: “It’s brilliant to be able to provide such a well-presented digital edition to subscribers. The search function, in particular, will be useful to those who want to instantly locate references to specific keywords or football clubs. I’m looking forward to watching the archive grow as future issues are added.”

Daryl Rayner, managing director of Exact Editions, said: “The Universals Service allows publishers to sell digital access through their own e-commerce systems, putting them in the driving seat of managing digital sales and customer data. It’s a great way to add value to existing subscription products of Programme Monthly.”
