Texere Publishing, a global media business specializing in the science and medical markets, has announced that it has been awarded the Investors in People We Invest in Wellbeing Silver.
Texere Publishing says the achievement of silver means that it has the right principles in place, and has successfully developed a strong wellbeing strategy that is supported by their people. It says it has and continues to focus on improving days at work and enabling the team to feel like they have achieved more.
Texere says 33 productive days are lost per year to moderate to severe depression. People who are worried about their finances lose an average of 6 days of productive time at work and a poor diet can lose 4 productive days a year.
Texere says it joins a community of 15,000 organizations across 75 countries that “make work better” – the motto of Investors in People. Founded in 2012, Texere has launched a number of brands and products by continually focusing on its most important asset: people.
Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate Texere Publishing. Silver accreditation on We invest in wellbeing is a fantastic effort for any organization, and places Texere in fine company with a host of organizations that understand the value of wellbeing. We believe that the success of any organization begins and ends with people. If we make work better for everyone, we make work better for every organization. And if we do that... we make society stronger, healthier and happier.”
Commenting on the award, Tara Higby, HR manager and wellbeing lead, said: “Being awarded the We invest in wellbeing silver 2024 is a wonderful achievement and demonstrates the commitment of our wellbeing team and reflects the benefits and values that wellbeing brings to our employees. We will remain focused on meeting the needs of the team and will continue to build on the feedback we have received to date.”
In addition to We invest in wellbeing silver, Texere Publishing says it also achieved We invest in people silver in 2022.
