The BikeRadar YouTube channel runs in partnership with the cycling portfolio’s digital and print activity, and is a resource for cycling reviews, tech news, riding advice and how-to guides, says the publisher.
Due to increased investment, the publisher continued, the five new roles will enable the team to increase its video-first content for BikeRadar, take more time for creative development, and focus in on its mountain bike audience and print brand, Mountain Biking UK.
In addition, the publisher has announced that Felix Smith has been promoted to senior video manager and will continue to ensure the delivery of video across many formats, working with the wider Cycling portfolio to set the vision and strategy to help grow the audience, as well as direct and third-party revenues.
Alison Worthington, publishing director for cycling says: “I’d like to personally thank the team, both past and present, in getting us into such a fantastic position that we feel confident expanding and building our operations further. This is a really exciting move for Cycling and a clear statement of intent for us as portfolio and as a business.”Keep up-to-date with publishing news: sign up here for InPubWeekly, our free weekly e-newsletter.
