Newsworks Awards 2022 – shortlists announced

The Newsworks Awards were reimagined this year to reflect the dynamic nature of news brand advertising across all platforms, with a spotlight on creativity, innovation and purpose-led campaigns, says Newsworks.

Announced today, the 2022 shortlist features wide-ranging nominations from a variety of agencies across a range of brands. At the heart of campaigns, key themes around trust, real life case studies, authenticity and storytelling shone through, says the judges.

An expert panel of leading marketers and agency professionals, chaired by Helen Jeremiah, VP marketing director at Boots, whittled down the entries to the shortlist below.

“It has been an absolute pleasure to chair The Newsworks Awards this year,” Jeremiah said. “The number and quality of the entries demonstrates the passion and creativity in our industry. I was really inspired by many of them and look forward to celebrating with the nominees and winners.”

The winners, including a Grand Prix, will be announced at a party at NoMad London in Covent Garden on Thursday 1 December.

Jo Allan, Newsworks CEO.
