HOUSE reveals first year figures

Condé Nast yesterday revealed figures for the first year of HOUSE, the design, decoration, food and lifestyle website from House & Garden, as it marks its one year anniversary on 13th March.

A fully integrated collaboration between print and digital combining House & Garden magazine editorial with original new content, HOUSE has built an engaged and passionate audience, reflected both in its remarkable unique user and social media figures, says Condé Nast.

According to the publishers: Originally forecast to hit 500,000 unique users by 2018, the site exceeded this by April 2014, the first full month after launch. It currently holds a unique user figure of 801, 857 (+317% year on year), with 4,686,103 page impressions, (+335% year on year). (Source: Google Analytics Nov14-Jan15).

Social media figures reflect an equally strong following. Eight months after launching HOUSE, House & Garden reported a 15,554% year-on-year increase in total Facebook fans. Currently, Likes on Facebook reach nearly four million, (+1,403% year on year) growing by an average of around 200,000 fans each month in the last six months. Twitter followers are equally as strong with 49.3k followers (+112% year on year) (Source: Latest date 2nd February 2015/3rd February 2014).
